JENNIFER KENWORTHYMarriage and Family Therapist Intern
My focus is on working with individuals, couples, and families who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsteady. Many of my clients show up to therapy with challenges navigating anxious thoughts, exploring life transitions, or dealing with challenging relationships. I have an affinity for working with women struggling with anxiety, body image, identity and overall wellbeing. Additionally, I love helping couples and families of all backgrounds/structures with how to repair past hurts and feel supported in their relationship. You’ll learn how to express yourselves more effectively to rebuild understanding and strengthen care.
I approach therapy from a systemic and relational lens. I work to integrate somatic practices and yoga into sessions addressing the lived experience in your body and guide you back to yourself. The incorporation of a mind-body approach can provide greater connection to places language can’t access.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can show up fully as your authentic self. I will provide a collaborative space that offers curiosity and compassion for your lived experience while supporting your healing with practical tools for change. I look forward to hearing from you!
